Helena Álvarez is a graphic designer and art director based in Madrid, Spain, with experience in visual communication across various industries, including technology, entertainment, food, and culture, working in both digital and offline formats.
She currently works at Fever, where she contributes to the creation of visual content for one of the world’s leading entertainment discovery platforms, collaborating with partners such as Netflix, Warner, Disney, BBC, and Last Tour. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance designer, collaborating with businesses in the restaurant industry, such as Yokaloka and Mercado de Antón Martín, focusing on brand identities, packaging, and marketing materials.
Helena's academic background in Audiovisual Communication and Art History enriches her design career, deepening her understanding of artistic movements and cultural narratives. Early in her career, she gained experience in the audiovisual sector through an internship at Filmoteca Española and by programming films at Cineteca Matadero.
Her previous experience also includes working at an advertising agency, where she helped develop transmedia and social media content for brands like Adidas, Movistar+, and Paramount España.
